End Child Poverty

End Child Poverty

The Campaign to End Child Poverty is a coalition of more than 120 organisations working to eradicate child poverty in the UK. It is formed from children's and other charities, social justice groups, faith-groups, trade unions and others concerned about the unacceptably high levels of child poverty in the UK.

There are 3.8 million children currently living in poverty in the UK, one of the highest rates in the industrialised world. 1.3 million children are living in a household with an annual income of less than £7,000 and without significant investment by the Government especially in the present economic circumstances, it is feared that this number will increase even further.

The Government has set targets to halve child poverty rates by 2010 and to eradicate child poverty by 2020, the Campaign is working to keep the Government to their promise, and to demand a better future for all UK Children.

We have worked closely with the charity on a pro-bono basis to provide a new, more powerful website that provides the Campaign team at ECP with a number of tools through which they can interact with their supporter base. It also creates a powerful platform upon which to present their important message. With a number of dedicated actions such as signing an online petition, joining the campaign's Facebook Group or linking to the campaign, the new website also provides materials and advice for supporters looking to run their own events and updates on how the campaign is progressing.
