European Gaucher Association

The European Gaucher Association (EGA) is a pan-European umbrella group representing the interest of Gaucher Patients and those of non for profit Gaucher Patient Groups throughout Europe and elsewhere in the world.

The working together of Gaucher patient groups has already lead to consistency in treatment of certain manifestations of Gaucher Disease throughout Europe. Inspired by this and by their successes in achieving humanitarian aid for the most severe patients in Eastern Europe member countries of the EGA have grasped the challenge of collaboration for the further advantage of Gaucher Patients.

Score Communications was commissioned to revitalise the existing website by creating a redesign to clarify and convey EGA’s passion for patients. The new design incorporated necessary functionalities for a European establishment. These included being able to choose to view the site in 1 of 5 languages and view archives of news and events created by EGA. This was all manageable by EGA from the bespoke Content management system.
