We have worked with the college for over 5 years developing their central website to become the core aspect of their marketing strategy and a well used resource throughout the school’s community. The site is intelligently targeted at a diverse audience providing specific information to teachers, students and parents.
In 2010 we conceived and created a powerful virtual learning environment system (or extranet) to position the school at the forefront of technology.
Based on Google’s own iGoogle technology, the new system allows teachers to post subject information for students including notes and research information. Each student is then able to subscribe to a feed for the subjects or classes that they attend allowing them to receive and access a range of information. It also provides a safe and secure mechanism for students to send work back to the teacher for review or discussion. In effect, a virtual classroom packed inside a light-weight and easy to use private platform.
