Record Label Revamp
This month sees the launch of the Floating World Records portal, an independent record label whos offerings encompass a range of niche musical flavours including American Rock, Country and Blues.
The label’s website revamp results from an integration of three existing labels and the launch of two additions. Each of the three existing are well established and as popular as the artists featured in their catalogues so the creative challenge was to combine and revitalise the brands, whilst keeping the existing large and loyal fan base happy.
A new look and feel was developed alongside a complete restructure of the user experience including an online shopping facility. The content management system was completely rebuilt meaning that updating the site is now simple and intuitive, allowing immediate content and catalogue updates that will give the label an edge over its competition.
The launch coincides with the roll out of a comprehensive AdWords online marketing campaign which promotes the entire back catalogue and which is currently successful in surpassing Amazon in its paid search engine rankings.
